History

GHDonline was launched in June 2008 with four public communities: Adherence & Retention, Health IT, MDR-TB Treatment & Prevention, and TB Infection Control.

Over the last four years, we have launched six more public communities, hosted private communities, and extended our platform to support clinical exchange to improve the delivery of clinical care.

Support

GHDonline is supported by our institutional founding collaborators, private foundations, and community sponsors. Our supporters recognize that a platform for the generation and dissemination of knowledge requires long-term investment.

Additional support is provided by the Abundance Foundation, The Pershing Square Foundation, the Leon Lowenstein Foundation, and the Schooner Foundation.

Team

We believe that successful communities of practice require a team actively supporting their growth. To learn more about the GHD team, please visit GHD’s faculty and staff.

The GHDonline team includes our expert moderators, who guide the communities in their focus on critical healthcare delivery challenges.

Work With Us

We always welcome people who are interested in collaborating with us. There are a number of ways you can get involved.

In addition to continuing to learn from nursing colleagues, GHDonline is a very good resource on topics that are not necessarily my area of expertise. It has become a "go to" place to quickly get an overview of topics from a diverse group of providers.
–Sheila Davis, Director of Global Nursing, Partners In Health, U.S.A., Assistant Professor of Nursing, Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions, and GHDonline Moderator
