Adherence Support Worker Training Materials

These training materials developed by Family Health International are aimed for the training of community volunteers who work alongside nurses and doctors. This “two-week intensive course” teaches Adherence Support Workers (ASWs) how to interact with patients in clinical, community, and home settings where they provide HIV education, treatment support, and ART adherence counseling. Modules include didactic sessions, role plays, and group exercises.
