Co-trimoxazole management and availability
Started by Likhapha Ntlamelle on 31 Mar 2011
Cotrimox can be available for patients, but one problem is for patients to take it daily, faithfully. In resource limited settings, at community level, there are village health workers who play an important role of administering TB medication as well as ARVs for patients. The co-trimox as part of the ARVs can also be given by these VHWs and we can be sure that it is being taken by patients daily . It can be done as part of DOT.
