WHO: Rapid advice Antiretroviral therapy for HIV infection in adults and adolescents
Started by Anat Rosenthal, PhD on 10 May 2010
From the document overview: The key recommendations contained herein are released as Rapid advice because several countries with the highest burden of HIV infection currently are in the process of changing their national guideline for HIV treatment and care, and updating estimates for 2010 Universal Access reporting. This Rapid advice focuses on two key areas of the full guideline; when to start ART and what ARVs to use in adults, adolescents, pregnant women, tuberculosis (TB) and hepatitis B (HBV) co-infection.
