The initial and long-term outcomes among a group of patients with MDR TB resistant to fluoroquinolones and streptomycin but susceptible to second-line injectables [Kanamycin, Amikacin, Capreomycin] were similar to outcomes among patients with MDR TB only [susceptible to fluoroquinolones and injectables] and significantly better than outcomes among patients with XDR TB.
