• Forward email notifications from public communities
Members are encouraged to forward email notifications from any of the public communities with colleagues and list servs, mailing lists, etc. As a reminder, email notifications from private communities should be treated as confidential and not shared.
Create or Moderate a Community
• Suggest/Become a GHDonline moderator
GHDonline moderators guide communities and provide domain expertise, making sure members’ pressing questions get answered and leveraging resources within their organization to enrich content. They work closely with the GHDonline team. If you would like to be considered as a new moderator, suggest a moderator, or learn more about moderation please contact us with detailed request.
• Suggest a new community
We see the creation of communities as a partnership between us and potential moderators and their organizations. For this reason, instead of enabling members to create communities on their own we guide the creation of communities by establishing an action plan and goals with partners . If you’re interested in creating a community, we invite you to first review and try to answer this set of questions (PDF). Once you are committed to creating a community and can muster the support needed within your organization and partners, we’ll be delighted to discuss with you.
Private communities on GHDonline provide a secured and easy-to-use repository system and collaboration space for organizations, projects, and international partnerships. Organizations choose GHDonline because of its flexibility, reliability, and accessibility in resource-limited settings.
“As diagnosing and treating patients is invariably a complex and multi-layered endeavor, especially in challenging settings, resources like these can be very helpful in advancing practice and in managing care for patients,” says Corrado Cancedda, MD. Cancedda is a co-moderator of Clinical Exchange, a GHDonline private community where clinicians from Brigham and Women's Hospital and Partners In Health Rwanda consult with each other on complex clinical cases (click here to read a PDF abstract on this community).
Please contact us if you would like to learn more about the benefits of creating a private community.
Join our efforts
• Partner
At its core, GHDonline is a collaborative effort: members share knowledge that is applicable in the field but not found in traditional media such as vendors’ recommendations or advice on interventions, and partner organizations work with us to provide expert content, services and tools to members. We are constantly discussing collaboration opportunities with organizations so please contact us or click here to discover our current partners. Partnerships include but are not limited to NGOs working with us to publish their guidelines, protocols, and forms as members-only content, or publishers providing access to restricted content to GHDonline members.
• VolunteerWe need Spanish, Russian, French, and Haitian Creole translators, as well as experienced writers to work with us on Discussion Briefs . Please contact us if you can donate a few hours of your time!
• DonateYou can support our efforts by making a donation to the Global Health Delivery Project.
