Home-based HIV testing and counseling (HBHTC) improves access to and reach of HIV testing and counseling (HTC). Benefits of HBHTC include: early diagnosis & linkage to treatment; expanded uptake of HIV testing & counseling on community level; limited patient costs; & reducing stigma.
AIDSTAR-One has collected & evaluated related HBHTC resources, such as: cue cards, reporting & referral tools, supervision tools, & training tools. All are available for download.
