Thanks for this.
However, I would like to know more about the "PP" i.e Positive prevention
and how possibly It can make a change in the spread of HIV. In my community,
there have been raising concerns about the impact of the care for people
living with HIV(PWHA). to many, this has created adverse effects to the
society, not to say that the people living with HIV are being convicted, but
because of the way they have conducted themselves in society.
You will appreciate that after the minimization of social stigma against the
PLWHA, it is now considered a disease like any other, besides there are
drugs which will keep someone alive for as long as they want as long they
are on treatment faithfully.
Be informed that these are the same people who have gone an extra mile to
deny their HIV status, have married or gotten married and have gone ahead to
prove immoral in society.
So please, I wish to understand how this positive prevention can really be
applied.
Regards,
Byaruhanga Emma

Dear Byaruhanga and all,
The issue of HIV Prevention with Positive Interventions was discussed a while ago in the Adherence & Retention community. The results of the discussion, and links to relevant information about positive interventions, were posted as a discussion brief in the Adherence community.
I’m sure there’s more, but it’s a start.
