Online Training Course: Drug-Resistant Tuberculosis Program Management - March 12-28, 2013

The DR-TB Training Network (www.drtbnetwork.org) is a USAID-funded website of the TB CARE II project. The DR-TB Training Network will host an online training course on Drug-Resistant TB Program Management in English from March 12-28, 2013 on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:00 a.m. EDT; each webinar is 1 hour long. See the attached brochure for details of each lecture.
The webinars are delivered by TB experts from Harvard Medical School, Brigham & Women's Hospital, Partners In Health, and KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation. Dr. Edward Nardell will be giving a lecture on reducing TB transmission in high-burden settings on March 19, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT).

TB CARE II is funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) under cooperative agreement no. AID-OAA-A-10-00021. The project team includes prime recipient, University Research Co., LLC (URC), and sub-recipient organizations Jhpiego, Partners In Health (PIH), Project HOPE along with the Canadian Lung Association (CLA); Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI); Dartmouth Medical School: the Section of Infectious Disease and International Health; Euro Health Group; and The New Jersey Medical School Global Tuberculosis Institute.
