re: Natural Ventilation for TB PAtient Wards

How do we go about in adapting Natural Ventilation since patient has a misplaced cultural belief that it is "air" that causes illness thus "shutting the windowss" of the hospital.
Though I have to admit that the ceiling is just 9 ft from the floor which is not typical of "old fashioned" wards(for which high ceilinged usually old-designed wards).
