ACT Watch (http://www.actwatch.info) is a new initiative funded by the B&M Gates Foundation that will generate evidence about the availability, price, quality, volume, retailer/consumer perceptions, and knowledge of antimalarial drugs at different service delivery points. In addition, the project will also understand the structure of the supply chain for the delivery of anti-malarial drugs. The studies will be conducted in 8 countries over a period of 5 years.
The results will help inform global and national policy decisions about how to improve availability of ACTs. All results are posted on-line as soon as they become available.
