Bio Jason Kroening-Roche Jason Kroening-Roche is a current student at Harvard School of Public Health working on global health issues and primary care health policy. He recently graduated from University of California San Diego School of Medicine and will be starting his residency in Family Medicine this summer. Jason founded the Rural Health Collaborative (RHC) in 2008, which he now co-directs with his wife, Olivia. I have no prior to exposure to global health and have never worked in the field. I do have some foreign language skills seeing as I majored in German at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. Bio Kenny Chung Kenny Chung is a first year two-year masters student, who aspires to attend medical school after graduating from HSPH. He completed his B.A. degree at the University of California, Berkeley in May 2010 as a double major in Public Health and Molecular and Cell Biology. His research interests are varied. Bio Rebecca Maine I am currently a general surgery resident at UCSF. I am also a Global Surgery Research Fellow with the Program for Global Surgery and Social Change at Harvard Medical School. I am interested in improving surgical systems and outcomes in low-resource settings. As a medical student, I spent a year in Ecuador evaluating the long-term outcomes of children who had cleft palate repairs on surgical missions.
