Bio John Rickard I am a 34 yo cardiac electrophysiology fellow working at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH. I am board certified in internal medicine and general cardiology. I have no prior to exposure to global health and have never worked in the field. I do have some foreign language skills seeing as I majored in German at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. Bio Badewa Fatunde Olubadewa Adeyemi Fatunde, or “Badewa,” Badewa obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Neurobiology with a minor in Spanish from the University of Texas at Austin. He also has a Master’s degree in Medical Sciences from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. Bio Rebecca Maine I am currently a general surgery resident at UCSF. I am also a Global Surgery Research Fellow with the Program for Global Surgery and Social Change at Harvard Medical School. I am interested in improving surgical systems and outcomes in low-resource settings. As a medical student, I spent a year in Ecuador evaluating the long-term outcomes of children who had cleft palate repairs on surgical missions.
