PhD Opportunity- Postgraduate study in Oxford

The British Heart Foundation Health Promotion Research Group (BHFHPRG), Department of Public Health, University of Oxford welcome applications from students who wish to study for a PhD (a DPhil in Oxford) in a research area allied to groups interests.

The Group currently has MRC funding for a studentship focusing on the following area:
Predicting the future burden of cardiovascular disease in England using an integrated model of behavioural risk factors

The Group is primarily, but not exclusively, interested in the following areas of research:

Evaluating health promotion: Nutrition
Evaluating health promotion: Physical activity
Assessing the burden of cardiovascular disease
Evaluating the connections between public health and environmental sustainability
