African Midwives United Towards Contribution to the Achievement of MDGs, May 4-7, 2010

Uganda Private Midwives Organisation (UPMO) will host its fourth conference for African midwives at Speke Resort Munyonyo in Uganda from May 4-7, 2010. The conference theme is “African Midwives United Towards Contribution to the achievement of Millennium Development Goals”. The four-day meeting will offer participants an opportunity to share knowledge and experience to strengthen the midwifery practice, education and research in relation to the contribution towards achievement of Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
Interested Speakers from Africans Midwifery Schools, Universities/Colleges, Hospitals, Organisations, and Midwifery providers are invited to Submit an abstract on one of the following sub-themes:
* Strengthening midwifery Practice.
* Promoting the Health of women, newborn, and families
* HIV/AIDS in midwifery context
* Midwifery Research
