The Volunteer Healthcare Corps (VHC) is currently recruiting for an Emergency Medicine Nurse interested in a 3-6 month placement at the Black Lion Hospital (Tinkur Anbessa Specialized Hospital) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. They will be working within a partnership between the University of Wisconsin Department of Emergency Medicine and the Black Lion/Addis Ababa University Department of Emergency Medicine. The role of the Nurse mentor focuses on building local capacity through transfer of knowldge and skills to improve the pediatric and adult emergency medical services in Addis Ababa.
