Health Care Without Harm is leading the global movement for environmentally responsible health care. Click on the site http://72.32.87.20/us_canada/ for information on US & Canada nursing activities. For nurses in Europe, SE Asia and Latin America, separate tabs are at the top to retrieve informaiton from your region. Other regions not represented, there is a tab titled, Global Projects that covers more topics on environmental health throughout the world.
Find out which Nurse Member Organizations are active in HCWH in the US by clicking here http://72.32.87.20/us_canada/nurses/organizations.php
There is opportunity to join the Nurses Work group for those of you interested in global environmental health issues.
A more comprehensive global environmental health nursing "resource" will be made available later this year. Feel free to contact me if you have any resources to share or if you have questions.
