Dear Nursing Colleagues,
I have been very fortunate to have been one of the Genocide Intervention Network's Carl Wilkens Fellows since February of 2009. It has been an amazing and growing experience and I have learned a tremendous amount from GI-Net, the anti-genocide movement, and my fellow fellows. Nurses have thus far not been very active in this movement and I think it is critical that we as nurses continue to bring our voices to this table. The application for the 2010 fellowship is currently available with a deadline of November 1st . This is an unpaid fellowship for people who are currently working, so is ideal for nurses. I am particularly interested in trying to continue the nursing presence as part of the fellowship so am encouraging nurses to apply. Please consider applying and/or passing this information onto any nurse colleagues who may be interested. Please email me at with any questions or for more information.
