It is a great pleasure and pride for us to be presented the Jhpiego International Award for Outstanding Contribution to Midwifery to Ms. Maiya Manandhar, Nursing Supervisor and National level Skilled Birth Attendance Trainer at the Maternity Hospital and Midwifery Society of Nepal's Joint Treasurer in a magnificent event, International Confederation of Midwives 29th Triennial Congress held in Durban, South Africa from 19-23 June, where more than 3000 participants across the globe comprised of midwives, representatives of donor agencies and Ministry of Health had attended .
