Malpractice insurance options for midwifery students in Africa?

Dear Global Health Nursing & Midwifery Members:
We received the following question from a Certified Nurse-Midwife; many thanks in advance for any advice you can share with her and the community:
"I'm seeking information about obtaining malpractice insurance for midwifery students doing clinical in Africa. The students will always be with a faculty. However, our university malpractice policy does not cover out of country births. I've been unsuccessful in finding out if other programs require malpractice insurance for this experience and, if yes, where to obtain a policy. Thank you in advance for any information/help you can provide."
