I recently became aware of this organization which coordinates nurses to do relief work. I'm wondering if other nurses have direct experience with RNRN, and if they'd be willing to share?
From their website:
RNRN is a national network of direct-care RNs(sponsored by the California Nurses Association and the National Nurses Organizing Committee) that coordinates sending volunteer RNs to disaster stricken areas where and when they are needed most. RNRN was organized in 2005 when Katrina and Rita. It is affiliated with the Massachusetts
Nurses Association.
