In this narrated slide tutorial, epidemiologist Laurel Spielberg, Dr PH, examines some of the major health issues that women around the world face over the course of their lives. She reviews key factors that affect women’s health, including economic status, biological, social, and cultural factors, and access to health services such as family planning. Dr. Spielberg also discusses the progress that has been made in improving women’s health.
