Description
GHEI is a small non-profit in the Western region of Ghana in the small farming community of Humjibre. Our mission is to promote education and improve health through principles of sustainable development and community empowerment.

GHEI Serve and Learn consists of four programs that are led by a group of volunteers each summer in Humjibre, a small farming village in Western Ghana. Through these programs, volunteers carry out GHEI's mission, empowering communities to address the challenges of rural development. It is the perfect opportunity for those interested in international development, public health and education to gain valuable professional and grassroots experience. The Serve and Learn projects provide a chance to learn about and profoundly experience grassroots work in a developing country.
