Thank you Mairi for the youtube link. UBC's work is quite inspiring and exciting. As one of the more "mature", i.e., old, members of this community, I can recall that during medical school and residency training, my desire to work overseas was not seen in a very positive light by my surgical attendings and fellow residents. It's great to see how things are changing, and we are becoming a greater part of the global health network.
