Health IT
Harvard Global Public Health & Technology Conference - May 1 - Cambridge, MA
Started by Jonathan Payne on 27 Apr 2010
Graduate students from the Harvard School of Public Health, Kennedy School of Government, and Harvard Medical School have teamed up to organize Global PHAT 2010 (www.globalphat.com), exploring the role of technology in crisis response, health ICT failures, improving the effectiveness of EMR, and empowering community health workers through mobile health.
While all of you are welcome to attend, we are inviting the health IT community to engage in the ongoing discussion of practical implementation strategies and best practices on the GHDonline platform, using content from the conference. Soon after the event, we will post the session videos along with text summaries and questions to guide discussion. At the end of several weeks, we will synthesize all the discussion materials together to form the beginning of a framework to guide eHealth implementations.
I hope that all of you will participate in the discussion, and, if you are in Boston, please join us on Saturday, May 1. See www.globalphat.com for details. A short description is below.
Sincerely,
Jon
