Medical Mission Exchange(www.mmex.org) is a free, online database of short- and long-term medical missions and clinics in the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Guatemala, Honduras and Belize. Over 500 organizations participate in Medical Mission Exchange, sharing the dates and details of their mission plans. Posting this information on www.mmex.org enables communication between groups, facilitating referrals and follow up care for patients whose needs one group cannot meet alone. MMEX is a non-profit organization, founded by a physician in 2003.
