Hi everyone, The mHealth Summit (http://mhealthsummit.org/) is going to start next week Dec. 5-7 in Washington DC and I wanted to create this discussion to hear what people see happening in mHealth that they learned from the Summit. There are some initial points about the summit at the HUB ( http://www.healthunbound.org/mhs) and hopefully we'll hear from people starting next week.
There will be 2 related sessions at the Summit regarding m/eHealth enterprise architecture for MNCH and there are 2 related groups on HUB that provide information about what these sessions will be addressing.
The first group is found here: http://www.healthunbound.org/group/mehealth-framework-mnch. This group is set up to collect feedback and comments regarding a proposed meHealth Framework for MNCH which resulted from an mHealth Alliance funded project. This Framework describes a person-centred, mHealth + eHealth architecture for maternal, newborn and child health.
The second group is found here: http://www.healthunbound.org/group/collaborative-health-platform. This group is also intended to be a forum for feedback and discussion; it contains artefacts that resulted from a USAID/PEPFAR funded project to design and specify a technology stack that could be used to realize a working version of the meHealth Framework.
Comments, suggestions for improvement, discussion and debate are welcome (and sought!) at both groups on HUB. For those that are attending the mHealth Summit, the meHealth Framework presentation will take place:
"Government Role in Scaling mHealth: Collaborations to Launch National mHealth Strategies"
in National Harbor 3 on 12/06/2011 (11:15 AM - 12:15 PM)
