I'd like to say there is a standard but in fact, there is none. For example,
I know of the same family owning two hospitals ten kilometers apart (in the
Philippines) but their workflow are so different. This is due mainly to a
lack of standard operating procedures and structured management which lead
to health workers left alone to find the 'best' workflow possible. The
outcome is like they are fraternal twins -- same parent but totally
different personalities.

I suggest looking at the manual of procedures (for each facility) and if
that is not available, working on that first and using it as a reference
point. Without that, you will be hitting a moving target.

If you're starting out with a new clinic, you're in luck. But make sure, the
staff are also coming in from the cold. Veteran workers have workflow
constructs already embedded in their mindsets and you have to factor that
in.
