Terms of Use

The “Terms of Use” outlines the obligations, rights, and the policy for acceptable use of GHDonline Content and Services for Users (“You”), and Members and Moderators when accessing the site.

Please read the following information on: Conditions of Use, Becoming a Member, License and Copyrights, and Security.

Conditions of Use

By using GHDonline Content and Services, You represent and warrant that (a) all Profile information you submit is truthful and accurate; (b) You will maintain the accuracy of such information; (c) You are 18 years of age or older; and (d) Your use of GHDonline Content and Services does not violate any applicable law or regulation.

Password
Upon first log in, you are asked to change your password so it is personal and confidential.

You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password. You agree not to use the Profile or password of another Member or Moderator at any time or to disclose your password to any third party. You agree to notify the GHDonline Team immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account or access to your password.

Non-commercial Use by Members and Moderators
GHDonline Content and Services may not be used in connection with any commercial endeavors except those that are specifically endorsed or approved by GHDonline.

Please note that advertisements, commercial postings, and other forms of solicitation such as chain letters and pyramid schemes, are inappropriate on GHDonline, and may result in membership termination. Illegal and/or unauthorized use of GHDonline Content and Services, including collecting Members and Moderators Profiles information for the purpose of sending unsolicited email or unauthorized framing of, is prohibited.

Becoming a Member

If You decide to become a Member of one or several GHDonline communities, You should fill out the Sign-up form. After filling out and submitting the Sign-up form, You will receive an activation email message. Upon activating your membership by clicking on the activation link, You will become a new Member.

As a new Member of GHDonline, your email notifications will be automatically set to Instant. It means that You will start receiving email messages from your community(ies) every time a new resource, a new discussion, and a new reply is posted in your community(ies). You can change your email notifications settings by signing in GHDonline, clicking on “My Profile”, and checking another notifications setting: None, Instant, or Digest. Click “Submit” to confirm you changes.

License and Copyrights

License
GHDonline does not claim any ownership rights in the text, files, images, photos, videos, sounds, or works of authorship, or any other materials (collectively, "Content") that You publish to GHDonline. After posting your Content to GHDonline, you continue to retain all ownership rights, and you continue to have the right to use your Content in any way you choose.

By publishing Content on or through GHDonline, You hereby grant GHDonline Users a limited license to use, modify, publicly perform, display, reproduce, and distribute such Content on and through GHDonline. You understand that without this license, GHDonline would be unable to provide its Content and Services.

The license you grant to GHDonline is non-exclusive (meaning you are free to license your Content to anyone else), royalty-free (meaning that GHDonline is not required to pay for the use of the Content that you post), and worldwide (because GHDonline Content and Services and the Internet are global in reach). The license does not grant GHDonline the right to sell your Content, or to distribute your Content outside of GHDonline.

Copyrights
You represent and warrant that: (i) you own the Content posted by you on or through GHDonline, or otherwise have the right to grant the license set forth in this section, and (ii) the posting of your Content on or through GHDonline does not violate the proprietary rights, copyrights, publicity rights, privacy rights, contract rights or any other rights of any person or organization, and (iii) the Content you post does not violate any patient’s rights under The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (more information: HIPAA), or other patients rights under other national laws and international treaties.

Security

GHDonline makes every effort to protect Members and Moderators from computer viruses during downloads and to all Users when accessing GHDonline Content and Services by applying the latest technology in virus file scan and other security protocols and measures.

Links to Other Sites
GHDonline Content and Services also provides links to other Internet Websites or resources. Because we have no control over such sites and resources - and though we take every step possible to maintain and update these links - you acknowledge and agree that the GHDonline is not responsible for the availability of such external sites or resources. In addition, once you link to another site, you are subject to the privacy policy of the new site.

GHDonline may amend the terms of this Terms of Use agreement.
