About Andrew Bresnahan
I'm currently a first year medical student (M.D. Class of 2015) and Global Health Liaison at McMaster Medical School, Canada. I recently completed an M.P.H in population and public health in the Faculty of Medicine at Memorial University, and an M.Sc. in medical anthropology at the University of Toronto as a Research Affiliate with the Public Health Agency of Canada.
With a commitment to health and social justice, my research and practice focus on ways of advancing population health and health equity. My interests include public health and preventive medicine, epidemiology and biostatistics, political economy and social policy, rural and northern health, and global health delivery.
It's our connections that transform our communities of practice into a movement for health and social justice; I'm always delighted to hear from other people engaged in this important work. Thanks for being in touch!
