About: Project Muso Ladamunen (the Project for the Empowered Woman) was launched in June 2005 in collaboration with Malian graduate students, educators and health professionals to address the dire conditions in a community on the outskirts of Mali's capital city. Project Muso focuses upon four main programs: Participatory Education Program, Springboard Microfinance Program, Community-Based Malaria Program, and Community Action.
