About Ernesto Gozzer
Dr. Ernesto Gozzer is a medical doctor and experienced specialist in public health and global health. Working for different national and international organizations he has visited more than 20 countries. During the last decade he has participated in an important number of challenging and innovative projects in the area of TIC and public health. He has been involved and led teams to design, implement and monitor eHealth and mHealth initiatives, in different areas like: disease surveillance, HIV/AIDS, TB program management, blood donors, immunizations, cardiovascular risk assessment, antenatal care, HAART adherence, diabetes monitoring, and breast cancer risk assessment, among other. He has published articles and book chapter about this field. Currently, he teaches at the School of Public Health and Administration of the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia and also works as international consultant.
