I have recurrently seen the same kind of challenge, mainly when the TAT for species identification results took long (not understanding the reason behind still..); patients with NTM were actually DSTed and found RH(ES) resistant, started on SLD just to find out that the causal agent is a Non Tuberculosis Mycobacterium.... Dear Webster, Thanks for you quick reply In this field above all if there is a controversy, we actually need sound research and unfortunately here journalists might be right but they cannot go through this kind of research without high research skills; dear Webster, the very fact that they are strong opponents to MMC makes them be a major bias...
