Garima Rautela currently employed as a Research Associate (Nutrition) in CCDC. She is engaged in coordinating an Advanced training on Nutrition Epidemiology and grant writing. She is routinely involved in evaluating ethics application for Institutional Review Board approvals at CCDC for other projects.
She worked as a field investigator in an ongoing cross-sectional survey in which she collected baseline data for determining risk factors, prevalence and incidence of cardio metabolic disorders.
Prior to joining CCDC, she has worked at Sitaram Bhartia Institute of Science and Research (SBISR), New Delhi, as a Research Assistant in a project which studied the effect of a structured monitored antepartum endurance exercise program on cervical ripening, progress of labor and perinatal outcome of low risk mothers in which she carried out interviews of the subjects, followed them till delivery, collected post-delivery data and manage data in SPSS.
Her broad research interests include public health and nutritional epidemiology especially investigating the role of nutrition in non-communicable diseases and malnutrition.
