I am a practising anaesthetist Fellow of the UK and Irish Royal colleges holder of FRCA FFARCSI with over 20 years experience in the Caribean and UK. Graduated UWI MBBS and DA. My early education was in my homeland Nevis and St Kitts. Over the years I have been an active in community development as member of several community groups and also former host of a Radio program promoting health issues. Active professional interest in Intensive Care, Pain Management, Clinical Research and Health Service Development in remote and underserved commuinities. For the last 15 years I have been advocating for advancement in the Health services on Nevis. The vagaries of island life has necessitated my practising as a Family practioner with a very busy practice.

Dear Colleagues, I am very pleased to see this posting. It is an acknowledgement of a fundamental consideration in Health Services Development. Surgery and Anaesthesia are inseparable. I grew up on an island where I was determined to return to practice after my training in medicine and specialization in Anaesthesia. It is something.We in Nevis would like to share in if there are any one out there willing to partner with us especially in the area of service based research to build capacity.
