Our academic research collaboration in rural southwest Uganda is facing a critical challenge in internet connectivity and bandwidth. Currently, the collaboration spends USD1500 (subsidized by the ISP for our non-profit academic institution) per month for 512kbps; approximately 45 users or host machines are connected at any given time.
