Does anyone know of any work done to characterize the flow properties (rheology) of sputum as a factor in the spread of TB? Does the consumption of alcohol act as an expectorant and enhance the dissemination of TB in crowded bars?

Hi Hamish, I completely agree with you that systems should be modularized and pluggable with a core functioning piece for maximum flexibility in functionality and deployment. However, I believe that this core piece still hasn't been defined well enough using ontological principles and, so, the EMR systems seem to be blundering along.. Jay
