@Richard - "screens = affluence" is a fantastic, and totally sellable BCC intervention. That's a wonderful idea. I'm less sanguine about pre-made screening for windows or doors. @Tony - Stabilized earth is an interesting suggestion, but couldn't the same effect (neutralizing the breeding area created from harvesting the earth) be achieved by filling in the holes, planting trees into them, or any other number of interventions that don't require a) money, and b) a distribution network for ...
