Nancy Lange started a discussion "Blindness in developing countries". in the Endemic Non-Communicable Diseases community.

Interesting story today on NPR about working to address corneal blindness in the developing world--ophthalmology was one of many topics left out of the recent NCD conference. Also interesting that this guy took knowledge from the for-profit world (Starbucks) and applied it to capacity building. http://www.wbur.org/npr/133626621/ex-starbucks-exec-helps-develop-global-eye-banks
