Some acnedoctal reports confirm those findings in Malawi but the main issue we are facing is the continuity in supply of food in the program. Also, how to make sure that the food supplied in ART clinic is just used by the targeted patients and not some others vulnerable in the family? Those will remain big challenges ...

Dear all; This problem is really acute and in Africa and is one cause of non compliance. It is very difficult to tackle in Africa for several reasons including lack of community support to trace non addherent patients, use of drugs with bad side effects profile (Triomune) on a long term, difficult in biological follow-up due to technical constraints which lead to minimise some side effects and a shortage of staff able to spend enough ...

Dear Chinenye; I agree with you. In addition to that it will be a good experience in Africa (Uganda) given the situation of several african countries whereby HIV program is surving due to shifting of tasks by doctors to low caders. Shortage of medical staff explaning their workload cannot sustain such policy in several countries. Even trained Family physician are failing to applu home visits as required in their principles. Lets wait and see What ...
