I am a District Medical Officer in charge of a health district in rural Jamaica.My work entails running an out patient clinic, training of Community Health Aids, Family Nurse Practitioners and final year medical students. I also monitor the implementation of government primary health care policies at the grassroots.
I have also worked in Nigeria, where I did voluntary work for an NGO called Pro Health Care Nigeria, the work entailed giving free medical services to patients in rural Nigeria
