About Sheila Davis
Sheila Davis , DNP, ANP-BC, FAAN is the Director of Global Nursing at Partners In Health She began as faculty at the MGH Institute faculty in January of 2008, and teaches in the Primary care, Global Health, Immigrant/Refugee Health and HIV/AIDS sub specialty classes. Sheila is an adult nurse practitioner, specializing in HIV/AIDS and infectious diseases, and has had an active clinical practice at the Massachusetts General Hospital Infectious Diseases outpatient clinic since 1997.
She was the co-founder Sibusiso, a Boston based NGO working in South Africa and the Boston area and has worked in the area of domestic HIV/AIDS since 1987 and global HIV/AIDS since 1999. She has an interest in human rights, social justice, global nursing.
Sheila was one of the first 20 national Carl Wilkens Fellows from the Genocide Intervention Network in 2009 and had a one year fellowship in human rights, genocide prevention, and justice issues. She currently sits on the editorial boards for the Health and Human Rights:An International Journal's and the Journal of Nursing Educaton.

Does anyone have any examples of twinning between nursing schools that have has a true bi-directional approach to the relationship? I am looking for good models that include both student and faculty development as well as increasing capacity for long term improvement in nursing education. thanks, Sheila
