The Young Professionals Chronic Disease Network (YP) is currently seeking
an Executive Director to lead the organization as it transitions from
start-up into growth phase. This (salaried) position provides an exciting
opportunity for a dynamic and globally-minded individual to lead and grow a
global community of young professionals for action on non-communicable
diseases (NCDs). The new Executive Director will be located at Harvard
University and also work as a Fellow of the Harvard Global Equity
Initiative (HGEI).

The primary purpose of the Executive Director will be to manage the YP
executive team, collaborate with the Global Steering Committee (equivalent
to a Board of Directors), and provide strong leadership for the broader YP
community. This will include a diversity of tasks including strategic
planning, setting a vision, team (largely volunteer) management,
fundraising, membership engagement and working with a diversity of internal
and external stakeholders. As a HGEI Fellow the successful applicant will
also work approximately one day per week on HGEI project(s) in
collaboration with senior academic staff there. Responsibilities may
