Global Health Beyond 2015 - Conference and Workshop, Stockholm 4-5 April
Started by Jo Jewell on 25 Feb 2013
Dear all,
Many of you may be interested to hear about a conference and workshop that is taking place in Stockholm on 4-5 April, hosted by the Swedish Society of Medicine. The focus of the two-day event is 'global health beyond 2015' and will address a broad range of themes, including:
Maternal and child health
Health inequalities
NCDs
Climate change and health
The programme is designed to include a lot of discussion, and there will hopefully be a focus on how we address these challenges collectively and coherently.
The second day's workshop is aimed at young professionals and students specifically. Many of the keynote speakers from the main conference will attend and participate, but the focus is on a dialogue between emerging health leaders.
For more information on both the conference (4th) and the workshop (5th), please visit:

The programme for the workshop is being finalised, but YPCDN is sure to be represented so it would be good to see as many of you there as possible. The timeline is quite short, but there is a registration page and a small number of bursaries available to provide support for participants from low- and middle-income countries to attend.
Best wishes,
Jo
