Good morning, I will be starting nursing school this fall at the University of Florida, I hope to continue my schooling to become a Nurse Practitioner. I am looking for a Health Leadership Scholar Program to become involved in. I am very determined to sharpen my leadership skills and I was wondering if you had any suggestions of programs to apply for? Thank you very much.

Hi Catherine,

My apologies for taking so long to return your email. Congratulations on
starting nursing school at UF! Go Gators!

I presume you are looking for leadership opportunities to apply for,
specifically at the University of Florida?

Health-wise. The Free Clinic is a good avenue to get involved in. On the
undergrad campus, there is the Center for Student Leadership and
Service...which could still offer some good guidance, as well as the UF
Honors office.

I hope this is somewhat helpful to you!

Best Wishes,

Gloria
