Question about Cardiac TTR Amyloidosis
Started by Abigail Capobianco on 26 Feb 2013
Hello All,
I wondered if anyone knew any cardiologists or experts on Cardiac TTR Amyloidosis, or experts in the field familiar with the particular patient population most prone to Cardiac TTR (younger and middle-aged African American males)? Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!

Hi Abbie,
I am a cardiology fellow with some experience treating patients with
infiltrative cardiomyopathies, including amyloidosis.
Boston U has a program for these patients:
http://www.bu.edu/amyloid/resources/physician-resources/clinical-al/
I would start there. If you have any questions I would be happy to help.
