Idea DesignerData1.0: Data visualization for obesity and heart health

Idea submitted by: Madhuri Gandikota

We are a small startup interested in translating big-health-data to knowledge. Our solutions are based on the techniques of observational research and evidence based medicine guidelines.

This involves A) Design a clinical question B) translating clinical decision rules into models, i.e. data and security design C) cutting edge visualizations for data on demand.

We developed a solution called DesignerData 1.0- a fully functional minimum viable product. It is an in-memory relational database, analytical solution about obesity and heart health. DesignerData 1.0 is intuitive and easy to understand analytics that aids to detect, monitor obesity, blood pressure status, cholesterol & diabetic markers, smoking status, aspirin use, co-morbid health conditions such as heart attack, stroke, angina, coronary heart diseases and heart failure.

DesignerData 1.0 provides data integrity, security with scalable and incremental algorithms to authorized health care users for decision making with potential for real-time analytics.

Where we are now:
We are optimistic of delivering a project in health-data analytics, given our success delivery of a pilot with a big IT company. We are looking for funding and partners, (patients, clinicians, Statisticians, IT specialists). Also, we are open to develop a product/prototype for any interested healthcare stakeholders. We will be very happy to give a product demo to interested stakeholders.
