The Global Antibiotic Research and Development Partnership (GARDP - a joint initiative of the WHO and the Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative: www.gardp.org) has created the website ‘REVIVE’ https://revive.gardp.org/ to connect and support the antimicrobial discovery, research, and development community. One of REVIVE’s aims is to facilitate learning and in that sense, we are happy to announce that our first live webinar will take place soon:
Title: Antibacterial drugs: Clinical development for non-developers
Part 1: Traditional development – tiers A and B
Speaker: David Shlaes
Date: June 13, 2018 – 17:00-18:30 (CEST)

In this webinar, David Shlaes, an expert in antibiotic drug development, will introduce the relationship between the discovery phase and later clinical development and also discuss in some depth, traditional clinical development pathways (tiers A and B) focusing on the non-inferiority trial design. After David’s presentation, we invite the audience to take part in a live discussion. This webinar will be the first of a three-part series.
We hope you will join and feel free to pass on this information to your network.. We hope to be able to reach many researchers in the field of antimicrobial R&D, from different countries, fields of research, and different career levels. Diagnostic developers are also encouraged to participate!
