I just finished the two courses in "the Childhood TB learning portal" produced by The International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (The Union).
These courses were very helpful for me to organize my thoughts regarding the management of TB in children, especially in resource limited sitting as it is the case were I work. unfortunately here in Libya we do not have any place to refer our patient to if we suspect MDR-TB, as there is not any health care facility that provide GeneXpert MTB/RIF test. It is a sad fact for our children especially those living with HIV. We tried repeatedly to get a portable GeneXpert for the department but our effort went in vain. Hopefully with the knowledge provided by these courses we get some ideas and clues on how to mange a child in such circumstances.
Thank you for recommending it.
