Which Cancers Secondary to Kaposi Sarcoma Are Emerging in the HAART Era?

By Junior Bazile Moderator | 05 Sep, 2017

HI all,
I found this article on Medscape today and thought that it is worth sharing with you.
Some researchers looked into which cancers ,secondary to Kaposi Sarcoma (KS), are common in the Highly Active Anti-Retroviral Therapy (HAART) era. They found that cancer of the anus, Hodgkin lymphoma, non-Hodgkin lymphoma and cancer of the liver remain associated with KS. It has also been noted that the incidence of secondary cancers has significantly decreased from the pre-HAART era to the HAART era.

For those interested the full article can be found in the attached link
